Andrea Communications ClearFluency/Fast ForWord USB Parent Pack includes:

• 1- EDU-455 Over-Ear Stereo Headset (with microphone)

• 1- EDU-375 Over-Ear Stereo Headphones

• 1- EDU-USB External USB Headset Adapter

• 1- Y-100 Splitter Cable

PLEASE NOTE: When using Fast ForWord, the student can use either the EDU-375 Headphones or the EDU-455 Headset. The microphone on the EDU-455 can be rotated up and out of the way when not in use. The parent/provider will be able to listen through either the headphones or headset. When using ClearFluency, the student MUST wear the EDU-455 Headset as a microphone is required for the program. 

The EDU-USB Headset Adapter bypasses the computer's internal sound system, resulting in increased sound clarity and performance of both the microphone and the speakers in the headset. When using ClearFluency, plug both the pink and green plugs on the EDU-455 Headset into the corresponding jacks on the EDU-USB Headset Adapter. Then, simply plug the USB adapter into any USB port on your computer or laptop. The EDU-USB is compatible with both Mac and PC.

USB is required for Mac. MacBook with USB-C ports require C-400 USB Type C Adapter for USB connectivity.  

To use the EDU-455 with an iPad®, you will need a C-100 Mobile Adapter Cable. 

When using Fast ForWord, the Parent Pack gives parents and providers the ability to monitor what the student is hearing. Simply connect the Y-100 Splitter Cable to both the green plug on the EDU-455 and the green plug on the EDU-375. Then, insert the plug on the Y-100 into the audio jack on your computer (the jack on the computer may be green or may be marked with a headphone icon).
